Hello fellow SMA members and future members!  I’m very excited about this year and what SMA can bring to all of us. At our Strategic Planning Meeting in November I asked everyone why they joined SMA and why they volunteered to assist and resoundedly the answer was the same, “the intimacy” of our beloved group.  I’m pleased to say that even though we are growing by leaps and bounds we can still offer an extremely friendly group of people where everyone new to SMA or old (OK, I resemble that comment…) can feel welcome!

What’s new this year?  We will have meetings every month with the odd months having a speaker and the even months having a networking event at various locations.  The speaker meetings will be at different hotels since we have luckily outgrown last year’s location at jobing.com (Thanks, Jessica and Claudia!).  Our first meeting was a success with Amy Kropp from Baptist Health South Florida and previously JM Family. February 2nd is our next meeting and it will be a fun event with Speed Networking and yes, I’m bringing my boat horn!  Don’t miss it!
