Tamara BellTamara is a strategic human resources professional with more than 18 years of experience as a successful negotiator, leader, catalyst and team builder with a solid 8 year in HR with a strong focus on creating a positive employee/employer experience. She is currently the Campus Human Resources Manager at Johnson & Wales University. Prior to joining the JWU team, she was employed in human resources for MSC Cruises USA, one of the world’s largest privately owned cruise companies employing 16,500 people worldwide with offices in 45 countries. In this role, she led human resources initiatives such as policy creation, recruiting, training, benefits, onboarding, 401K and payroll. Tamara also provided guidance and leadership to the management team to implement and define processes.
Tamara is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University’s Providence Campus with an A.S. in public relations and B.S. in marketing communications. She also holds a master’s degree in public administration from Nova Southeastern University and certifications in human resources management and compensation/benefits from Florida Atlantic University. Tamara is a member of the Florida Chapter of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and currently working on her SHRM-SCP certification. |
